Penn State Global actively supports research and educational collaborative endeavors of faculty and staff engaged in building partnerships across the world, in particular related to developing or expanding collaboration with Penn State’s global partner universities/organizations. This includes travel for research, teaching, meetings, a conference, or other purposes at a current partner institution abroad in order to further collaborative research and education engagement     

Penn State Global seeks to incorporate the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the concepts of global sustainability and resilience into all its activities in order to help implement the university’s principle of ensuring a sustainable future, and to position Global as a leader in taking actions that build a more sustainable and just future at Penn State and in the world.  Penn State Global’s Sustainability Council, on behalf of all of its staff in Global, educates its staff to apply sustainability practices in all its operations with the goal to increase awareness and provide guidelines for its constituents: students, faculty and staff.
